f. Days/Hours of Operation: administrative, warehousing and distribution activities <br />occur 7 days a week from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. <br />g. Employees: the warehouse facility is staffed by three (3) administrative employees. <br />The warehousing and distribution operations is staff by four (4) warehouse <br />employees and one (1) driver. <br />h. Deliveries: Only one (1) large (8-foot by 40-foot) container shipment arrives each <br />month at this warehouse facility providing products to support the Applicant's True <br />Value Hardware retail operations. Once the container shipment is unloaded and <br />transported into the warehouse facility, the products are segregated and then <br />transported to the Applicant's businesses in Volcano via smaller delivery vans, which <br />amounts to approximately 12 daily deliveries. <br />As the Orchidland General Store is situated immediately to the east (makai) of the <br />subject property and existing warehouse facility, the transport of products from the <br />warehouse is directly via an existing dock situated between the two properties, with <br />the use of fork lifts and hand trucks to carry products. <br />3. Project Timeframe <br />Upon approval of the Special Permit, the Applicant will promptly apply for Plan <br />Approval and provide all necessary on -site improvements as may be deemed necessary <br />by the Windward Planning Commission, which may include a paved parking and loading <br />areas. <br />Every effort will be made to secure the necessary building permits for a change <br />of use of the existing structure to a warehouse and office building, if deemed necessary, <br />and complete all required improvements in a timely manner, roughly estimated at 2 <br />years from the date of approval of the Special Permit. <br />4 1 P a g e <br />
