Herbert seconds the Motion <br />Discussion: Chair Konowicz feels the recommendation against the purchase of <br />green vehicles, to only purchase “proven” vehicles is very strong and suggests a <br />change in the language. Comm. Herbert needs time to address the appropriate re- <br />write and will submit a red-lined version for discussion. <br />Roll Call Vote: Ayes (5) Comm.(s) Konowicz, Malakie, Kusch, Herbert and <br />Wakat / Unanimous <br />\[2:37 pm\] Motion to forward the recommendations of the County-Wide Fleet PIG <br />forward to the Final Report of the Commission passes <br /> <br />6 (c) – PONC <br />MOTION <br />Comm. Counsel, <br />go over the recommendations of the DEM PIG and fact-check the contracts and <br />the Konno Decision language submitted by Comm. Matson. Malia Kekai <br />submitted her red-lined edits on the contracts, and current status, to the <br />Commission for this meeting. She will look at the additional Konno language for <br />next meeting. <br />\[2:51 pm\] *Comm. Matson joins the meeting <br />Discussion: Comm. Matson will review the recording of the meeting to refresh <br />herself on Malia Kekai’s explanation of her red-line edits. Comm. Wakat points <br />out a cut-off paragraph in the DEM report. Comm. Herbert inquired about Ali ‘I <br />Drive wastewater issues brought up in the Debbie Hecht comments. Chair <br />Konowicz stated that the DEM PIG did not delve too far into the wastewater issue <br />as the Konno Decision was a major block. Comm. Matson felt the wastewater <br />issue was out of the scope of the Commission <br /> <br />\[3:00 pm\] * Comm. Obenski joins the meeting <br />7 (b) B&C <br />Discussion: Comm.
