Wastewater: According to the Department of Environmental Management (DEM), the <br />subject property is within 300 feet of the county sewer system and the proposed <br />subdivision therefore requires extension of the sewer system, in accordance with Section <br />23-85 of the Hawaii County Code. <br />24. Solid Waste: There are no municipal waste collection services in the County. According <br />to the applicant, solid waste will be handled by the individual lot owners into authorized <br />transfer stations. <br />25. Essential Utilities and Services: All essential utilities are available to the property.
