F. Archaeological Resources (one of the following): <br />1. An archaeological inventory report containing significant <br />assessments, effect determinations, and proposed mitigation <br />commitments. The report should be completed pursuant to State <br />Department of Land and Natural Resources Historic Preservation <br />Division (DLNR-SHPD) rules. <br />2. A "no effect" letter from the State DLNR Historic Preservation <br />Division. <br />3. A copy of a letter written by the applicant to the State DLNR <br />Historic Preservation Division requesting a "no effect" letter, <br />including supporting documentation, to which SHPD has not <br />responded after 30 days (SHPD's time limit under their rules). <br />Choice (1) A copy of the Archaeological Field Inspection Letter Report for 4.0 <br />acres of land [TMK: (3) 1-6-010:005 and 006] located in Kea'au Ahupua'a, Puna <br />District, Hawai'i Island, Hawai'i is attached.as a document in EPIC. <br />G. Floral and Faunal Resources <br />The Archaeological Field Inspection Report, further states, in regard to the floral <br />resources: "Plants in the project are dominated by false staghorn fern <br />(Dicranopteris linearis), 'ohia (Metrosideros sp.) and introduced species such as <br />waivi (Psidium Cattleianum), common guava (Psidium guajava), octopus tree <br />(Schefflera actinophylla), Moluccan albizia tree (Falcataria moluccan), Asian <br />melastoma (Melastoma septemnervium), and cecropia (Cecroppia glaziovii) <br />(Starr Environmental 2013). <br />Rare faunal species such as, 'alala crows and Hawaiian hawks, 'io, have not been <br />sighted on the property. <br />H. Valued Cultural Resources: Identify any traditional and customary <br />native Hawaiian Rights that are exercised in the area; the extent in <br />which the proposed development will affect these rights; and <br />feasible action to be taken to protect native Hawaiian rights if they <br />exist. <br />10 <br />
