Sumera, Member <br /> Joyce Unoki, Member <br /> Absent & Excused: Deanna Sako, Finance Director, and Ex-Officio Treasurer <br /> Also Present: Aaron Brown, Deputy County Clerk <br /> Jon Henricks, County Clerk, and Ex-Officio Secretary <br /> Diane Nakagawa, Deputy Finance Director <br /> Kay Oshiro, Controller, Department of Finance <br /> Elizabeth Strance, Corporation Counsel (via Zoom) <br /> Linda Young, Payroll Specialist II, Department of Finance <br /> Nicole Bello, Private Secretary, Office of the County Clerk <br /> STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC ON AGENDA ITEMS: (None.) <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES: June 9, 2022 <br /> Vice Chair Marumoto moved to approve the minutes of June 9, 2022. Seconded by Ms. Sumera. <br /> The motion to approve the minutes of June 9, 2022, was carried by the following vote: <br /> AYES: Board Members Sumera, Unoki, Vice Chair Marumoto, and Chair Lucas—4. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> 1e Election of Officers (December 2022—November 2023) <br /> Chair Lucas proceeded with the Election of Officers and asked for nominations for Chair for the <br /> upcoming year. <br /> Vice Chair Marumoto made a motion to nominate Mr. Lucas as Chair of the Pension Board for <br /> an additional year. Seconded by Ms. Sumera. <br /> The motion for Mr. Lucas as Chair was carried by the following vote: <br /> AYES: Board Members Sumera, Unoki, Vice Chair Marumoto, and Chair Lucas—4. <br /> Page I of 2 <br />
