I do support opening up – regardless day or night – if we can open <br />back up the Hilo thing – without going through this nightmare where nobody can hear <br />me for whatever reasons that we can open this up for more public get togethers since <br />the public \[unclear\]. <br /> <br />AA: Go ahead Leomana… <br /> <br />LT: Leomana – District 3. I support the letter. I think our mana – our power – comes from <br />the community, you know, this is a community-based Commission and Board and the <br />way we get stuff done is as a community because the gatherers, the hunters, the <br />fishermen – that’s how we operate and so I think if we’re not able to get the community <br />involvement in this then the Commission and Board has little to no power in my opinion <br />because a lot of the things we deal with is community-driven, so I think it’s important <br />for us to establish a time and space where the community can engage the most because <br />that’s where we get our strengths from. I support the letter in whatever you got to do. <br /> <br />AA: Thank you, Leomana. OK.
