Mooers stated that the applicant was in agreement with the Depar <br />including the conditions of approval as just revised; however, h <br />should be made to Condition M where it referred to Ðone addition <br />be nine additional lots. <br />Mr. Mooers said that the prospective market for this subdivision <br />interested in subsistent farming or small-scale commercial farmi <br />than high-end investors, adding that the potential price was $20 <br />With respect to the proposed access off of Union Mill Road, Mr. <br />indeed a roadway lot, and said that the alternative roadway lot <br />bordered Akoni Pule Highway, would not be suitable for access since it would be too close to the <br />Akoni Pule Highway-Union Mill Road intersection; however, he sai <br />would provide access to one of the lots within the subdivision w <br />accessed from the other roadway lot off of Union Mill Road. He <br />and roadway would be reviewed administratively at the time of subdivision application to ensure <br />compliance with the Subdivision Code. <br />In response to the ChairÓs question of whether the property coul <br />Mooers said that the project could not support the cost of a bridge that would have to be <br />constructed over the gulch to connect the road to the property. <br />over the single access in case of emergency such as fire. Mr. M <br />applicant was hopeful that this development would actually reduc <br />to clearing of land and also provide more fire protection by having extra water sources available <br />in the area. He also said that the applicant might be able to cr <br />if that were to be required. Commissioner Giffin observed that the other access from Akoni Pule <br />Highway could provide a potential emergency exit. <br />There was no one from the public wishing to testify in regard to <br />It was moved by Commissioner Giffin and seconded by Commissioner Nelson that a favorable <br />recommendation be forwarded to the County Council, with the cond <br />Department including the correction and addition to Condition M <br />Darrow clarified that based on the correction to Condition M, th <br />sentence would be changed to its plural form ÐlotsÑ as well.
