INITIATOR: COUNTY COUNCIL <br />Amendment to Section 15.1 (Community Development Plans) of the Hawaii County General <br />Plan by changing all references to Planning Commission to the Leeward and/or Windward <br />Planning Commissions. These housekeeping changes are the result of a County Charter <br />amendment, which became effective in April of 2009. <br />(SEE EXHIBIT C) <br />AMEND ZONING CODE The Commission took this item up at 12 noon with no one from <br />PLANNING DIRECTOR the public in attendance. <br />UNPERMITTED AG <br />TOURISM <br />INITIATOR: PLANNING DIRECTOR <br />Amendment to Chapter 25 (Zoning Code), Article 4, Division 1, Section 25-4-15 (f) and (g) by <br />extending the amnesty period for unpermitted agricultural tourism operations from twelve <br />months (November 20, 2009) to eighteen months (May 20, 2010). <br />(SEE EXHIBIT D) <br />MINUTESThe Commission took up the following item at this time, <br />12:03 p.m. <br />July 1, 2009 – It was moved by Commissioner Domingo and seconded by Commissioner <br />Ishibashi that the minutes be approved. Motion was unanimously carried by a voice vote of all <br />Commissioners in attendance. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS Staff announced that the next meeting is scheduled for <br />September 4, 2009. <br />ADJOURNMENT There being no further business, the Chair adjourned the meeting <br />at 12:05 p.m. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Sharon M.
