It was moved by Commissioner Salavea and seconded by Commissioner Galdones that the <br />application be approved as recommended by the Planning Director. The property is located between Alii Drive and the proposed Kahului-Keauhou <br />Parkway (aka Alii Parkway), mauka of the Kona Magic Sands Condominium and north of the <br />nd <br />White Sands Beach Estates Subdivision, Pahoehoe 2, North Kona, Hawaii, TMK: 7-7-8:21 & <br />23. <br />(SEE EXHIBIT C) <br />RECESSEDThe Chair called a short recess at 3:20 p.m. <br />RECONVENEDThe meeting reconvened at 3:30 p.m. <br />USE PERMIT NO. 99The Commission took this item up at 3:30 p.m. w <br />WAIKOLOA approximately 12 people from the public in attendance. <br />BAPTIST CHURCH <br />WAIKOLOA, <br />SOUTH KOHALA <br />WAIKOLOA BAPTIST CHURCH (USE PERMIT NO. 99) <br />APPLICANT: <br />Amendment to Condition No. 4 (time to secure Final Plan Approval) and Condition No. 5 (time <br />to complete construction) of Use Permit No. 99, which allowed the establishment of a church, <br />day care facilities, mission residences, recreational area and related improvements on 12.381 <br />acres of land situated within the County's Single Family Residential-10,000 square foot (RS-10) <br />zoned district. The property is located within Waikoloa Village at the northwest corner of the <br />Paniolo Drive and Puu-Nui Street intersection, Waikoloa, South Kohala, Hawaii, TMK: 6-8- <br />2:31. <br />Mr. Darrow oriented the Commission and members of the public of the subject and surrounding <br />properties on the location map and site plan, summarized the request and noted the Planning <br />Director recommended approval of the application with conditions, as amended. <br />The applicant’s representatives, Paul Bleck and Emerson Wiles, were in attendance. <br />3 <br /> <br />
