The property is located between Kuakini Highway and <br />Walua Road, approximately 1,500 feet northwest of the Kuakini Highway and Walua Road <br />st <br />junction, Waiaha 1, North Kona, Hawaii, TMK: 7-5-18:95. <br />(SEE EXHIBIT C) <br />MINUTESThe Commission took this item up at 11:00 a.m. <br />with no one from the public in attendance. <br />July 15, 2005 - It was moved by Commissioner Iwashita and seconded by Commissioner <br />Springer that the minutes be approved as circulated. Motion carried by voice vote of all <br />Commissioners in attendance. <br />ADMINISTRATIVEThe Commission took this item up at 11:03 a.m. with <br />MATTERSno one from the public in attendance. <br />Deputy Corporation Council Ivan Torigoe had nothing to report. <br />ANNOUNCEMENT The Commission took this item up at 11:04 a.m. with <br />no one from the public in attendance. <br />Mr. Hayashi reported on the following items: <br />1) The Parker School Board of Directors Application a Contested Case Hearing was held <br />and the hearing officer will be providing her report to the commission some time shortly. He <br />th <br />stated that the matter will probably be scheduled for the September 30 meeting. <br />2)The Vurich Application, a ContestedCase Hearing was held on Tuesday and the Hearing <br />Officer will be preparing his report and filing that report to the Planning Commission. He said <br />that the matter will probably be scheduledfor October or November. <br />3)The CELCO Partnership, the Verizon tower in Orchidland Estate hearing will be on <br />Monday in Hilo. <br />4)The Hawai`i Congress of Planning Officials Conference dates were changed from <br />October 5-7 to November 2-4, 2005. He stated that the Kauai Planning Department staff had to <br />change the dates due to a conflict with another conference that was scheduled in October. He <br />said that once they finalize the plans they will be forwarding the details to the Commission. <br />Mr. Hayashi stated that with regard to the change of the HCPO Conference the meeting dates for <br />thePlanningCommissionwillbechangedasfollows: <br />September2Hilo <br />September 30Kona (originally scheduled on September 23) <br />The September 2 meeting in Hilo will include a workshop on the Planning Commissions <br />PracticesandProceduresandtheprocess.DirectorYuenwillbegettingtogetherwithMr. <br />Torigoe to coordinate a presentation. <br />3 <br /> <br />
