Before – you may lower your hand – before either one of you <br />begins, would you state your name and address for the record, and you may begin your <br />testimony. <br />MOOERS: My name is Greg Mooers. I’m a planning consultant. My address is P. O. <br />Box 1101, Kamuela, Hawaii. <br />WATANABE: Thank you. <br />R. LELAH: My name is Reuben Lelah. I’m the clinical psychologist in residence in <br />Kaloko Mauka, 73-4340 Huehue Street, Kailua-Kona, 96740. <br />WATANABE: Thank you. I assume Mr. Mooers is going to begin the testimony? <br />MOOERS: Yes. <br />WATANABE: Yeah, so you apparently reach some concessions with your neighbors and <br />those who had proposed a contested case hearing. <br />MOOERS: That is correct -. <br />WATANABE: And your -. <br />MOOERS: There should be two memorandums of understanding. <br />WATANABE: Right. We are familiar with that. Have you had a chance to review the <br />conditions as well as the revised conditions; I believe it’s Nos. 2 and 6? <br />MOOERS: Yes, we have. <br />WATANABE: And are those satisfactory to you? <br />MOOERS: Yes, they are. <br />WATANABE: And would they also satisfy the agreement that you have reached? <br />MOOERS: Yes. <br />WATANABE: Well, is there anything -, well, I guess Ms. Siracusa had an issue. <br />MOOERS: Well, there are number of things that I would like to address. The first, <br />Commissioner Rho spoke about previous action on Kaloko Mauka regarding the change of zone <br />that was recommended for approval and that was subsequently denied by the Council; and that <br />really is not true. I’m not aware of any of those. There were two applications that were <br />recommended for approval by the Commission that are sitting with the Council, and have been <br />EXHIBIT A <br />8 <br /> <br />
