Missing and Murdered Native Hawaiian Women and Girls (MMNHWG) Task <br /> Force <br /> Farrah reported that the Task Force meets bi-monthly, and the next meeting is <br /> on January 26. She will report on that at the February meeting. She referred the <br /> committee to the Task Force Report link on the December 21, 2022 minutes. She <br /> said that the state CSW Chair will be coming in March and this will have to be <br /> worked out in terms of logistics, airfare, etc. She said the ideal date is during the <br /> crossover in the legislature, when bills cross over between the branches, mean- <br /> ing they are still alive. She said this would be a good time to promote legislation <br /> and discuss this with the state Chair when she visits. She suggested staying <br /> away from Spring Break to allow college students to participate if interested. <br /> ACTION ITEM: Jennifer will follow up on the visit details for the state CSW Chair. <br /> Vill. NEW BUSINESS <br /> A. Statements from the Public: No statements from the public. <br /> B. Review and approval of By-laws <br /> Suzanna said the document is meant to align all county boards and commissions <br /> to the same standards.The original has been slightly amended and reformatted <br /> for better use. <br /> ACTION ITEM: Farrah will include the amended By-laws draft into the meeting packet for <br /> February 2023 for committee review and discussion. <br /> IX. OLD BUSINESS <br /> A. Statements from the Public: No statements from the public <br /> B. Sub-Committee Memberships : No action, tabled by Chair <br /> ACTION ITEM: Subcommittee Chairs will provide a one paragraph blurb about what their <br /> subcommittee is focused on. <br /> ACTION ITEM: Farrah will send out a new roster of subcommittees/members before the <br /> next meeting. <br /> C. Communications Sub-Committee reports <br /> a. Status of Chair and Secretary email accounts <br /> Farrah said she drafted a policy and procedure protocol for the proposed <br /> CSW email account, which Shana created: hawaiicountycsw(a_amail.com. <br /> After committee discussion, the following edits were made to the docu- <br /> ment: the Treasurer was taken off the list of authorized account users by <br /> request of the Treasurer; the Recording Secretary was added to the list of <br /> account holders; guidance was added into the document regarding not <br /> deleting messages so there is a record of communications; and based on <br /> Sunshine Law, the email is not to be used to communicate with other <br /> committee members. <br /> 2 <br />
