Facebook updates <br /> Farrah reported she posted a UH Leadership workshop in December and <br /> encouraged others to post and share upcoming events or activities on the <br /> CSW Facebook page. <br /> c. Family Services Directory <br /> Farrah suggested we reduce the amount of printed directories ordered <br /> and combine 2023 with 2024. <br /> i. Distribution log — Committee is reminded to please keep track of <br /> directories distributed. <br /> D. Outreach Sub-Committee reports <br /> a. 2022 Year of the Mother <br /> i. Status of the Mother Report <br /> Shana gave a brief overview of the initiative and thanked every- <br /> one for their support. She said she would have done more if she <br /> had more time. She requested to wrap up the report and to create <br /> a final draft as her professional graduate paper, working with the <br /> Chair. The Chair suggested to extend the Permitted Investigative <br /> Group (PIG) until the report is finished, and wants to talk more <br /> about it to tie up loose ends related to the preliminary draft report. <br /> ACTION ITEM: Shana will coordinate a Zoom meeting for the group. <br /> Christina motioned to approve the extension of the PIG to a time no later <br /> than March 2023, to be reviewed at that time for further extension. <br /> Rachelle seconded the motion. The motion was approved. <br /> b. Teen Dating Violence <br /> Shana distributed cards in Honolulu and will update the distribution log <br /> i. Distribution log <br /> c. Real Women Essay <br /> Request given to Allen regarding gift cards, waiting for response. <br /> ACTION ITEM: Discuss start date. <br /> d. Community Surveys <br /> As of 1/18/23, 60 responses have been received with 10 questions. We <br /> are still collecting baseline data of how our island residents feel about <br /> issues in our community, primarily women. More discussion to be had on <br /> findings. Shana sent the survey to Legislature and County Council. Allen <br /> continues to make survey available to various County groups. The focus it <br /> to keep the survey on Hawaii Island. <br /> 3 <br />
