ordinances required the original applicant to develop a water source and distribution <br />system meeting with the requirements of the County Department of Water Supply to <br />service the originally proposed development. While repealing the subject change of zone <br />ordinances would allow the current landowners relief from this condition, water supply <br />for any subsequent subdivision or development of the properties would need to meet the <br />requirements of the County Code. <br />27. Wastewater: There is no County sewer system servicing this area. Wastewater disposal <br />for any new dwellings in the area would need to meet with the approval of the State <br />Department of Health in conjunction with the issuance of a building permit. <br />28. Solid Waste: There is no municipal solid waste collection on Hawaii Island, thus solid <br />waste disposal will need to be conducted by individual lot owners at a solid waste <br />transfer station or landfill in compliance with the requirements of the Department of <br />Environmental Management. <br />29. Essential Utilities and Services: All essential utilities and services are available to the <br />properties. <br />AGENCIES' COMMENTS <br />30.
