CABANAS: So, you're here today to present your monthly divisional activity report for
February 2023.
MR. LEOPOLDINO: Yes. Good morning. Waylen Leopoldino, Director of Human Resources.
I would like to present our monthly division report for February 2023. I will go through each
division and, kind of, highlight the new things that were described for each division.
Starting with the Administrative Services Division the staff in that division is currently
working on the Affordable Care Act, 1095C Forms, for distribution to employees with a deadline
of February 28. So, they've got—they're currently working on that.
For our Classification and Pay Division—for some of you, you may have heard that we have a
proposal at council to create the Animal Control and Protection Agency under the County. And
so, our classification and pay division has started on developing classes of work for that agency.
Nothing new with Equal Opportunity and ADA.
I would like to go down to our Personnel and Organizational Development Division. We
started—and it's part of my—one of my—one of the three goals that I have for the director of
human resources.
Jenny Sakamoto, the division head, has started planning on the Employee Engagement and
Retention Program. She's identified Parks and Recreation -Recreation Division, as the division
to pilot engagement and retention programming which is going to start in March. So, we're
excited about that.
Page 6
