Merit Appeals Board October 27, 2022 I'm not sure if we need to go into executive session. I think we do because I think the Board needs to discuss what format this six-month update assessment will involve concerning your department goals and objectives for this fiscal year. So, if you don't mind, we're going to I'm going to read this part about the executive session, `cause I think we need to go into that. So, the Merit Appeals Board anticipates convening one or more executive meetings regarding the above matter pursuant to HRS, Sections 92-4, 92-5(a)(2), and 92-5(a)(4) for the purpose of evaluating an officer or employee of the County of Hawaii where the consideration of matters affecting privacy will be involved and consulting with the Board's attorney on questions and issues pertaining to the Board's powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities. A two-thirds vote pursuant to HRS, Section 92-4, is necessary to hold an executive meeting. So, at this time, I'd like to entertain a motion for the Board to enter into executive session. MS. If not, will initiate a rollcall vote on the motion made to go into executive session to discuss the six-month annual performance evaluation for fiscal year 2022-2023 of the director of human resources.
