DARROW: That particular condition came in after John Gapp, so the last three <br />permits. John Gapp’s permit did not have that condition. So Walter Tavares, Greg Plescia and <br />Vern Woods all have that condition. <br />BOWMAN: Is Vern Woods the Whitney Investment? <br />DARROW: Vern Woods, no. Whitney Investment is John Gapp. <br />BOWMAN: Oh, okay. Sorry. <br />WATANABE: Yes, Mr. Alameda. <br />ALAMEDA: Thank you, Mr. Chair. So, Jeff, given that number of applicants that will <br />be coming back, what’s the purpose of them coming back, for an extension or we don’t know <br />yet? <br />rd <br />DARROW: Each one of these permits, all five of them, the four along 33 and <br />the one across the street, Excavation Tech, had a permit life of five years. And so each one of <br />those are starting to come up now. We have two that won’t come up until two years from now; <br />but three of those permits are coming up on their time extensions. <br />ALAMEDA: On the five years? <br />DARROW: Right. <br />ALAMEDA: Are we aware of any of those who found some place else or -? <br />DARROW: Not that I’m aware of. <br />ALAMEDA: So the likelihood of them coming back for another extension or maybe -? <br />DARROW: They’re in the process of filing at this time. <br />ALAMEDA: Yeah, so I can see what the applicant is saying then in the idea that, you <br />know, got all these potential applicants that will continue.
