Commissioner Ogin abstained, and was excused by the Chair, due to a conflict of <br />interest. <br />ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS <br />1.Approval of Minutes of the Meetings of August 11, 2009 <br />It was moved by Commissioner Kern and seconded by Commissioner Ogin that the <br />minutes be approved as circulated. Motion was unanimously carried by a voice vote of <br />all Commissioners in attendance. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />Mr. Mark made the following announcements: <br />1.A memorandum dated October 13, 2009, regarding the schedule for <br />Design Commission meetings was distributed to the Commissioners. <br />2.The nomination of Riley Saito, who will replace Commissioner Marone, has been <br />approved by the County Council. <br />3.There will be a week-long public charrette regarding the Honokhau Village TOD <br />stth <br />(Transit-Oriented Development) project from October 21 through the 27. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business, at 5:30 p.m., it was moved by Commissioner Ross and seconded <br />by Commissioner Ogin that the meeting be adjourned.
