The FY 2022 contract will <br />remain open until we receive all the equipment ordered with FY 2022 <br />funding. The two ambulances are expected to arrive in early 2023. (See <br />photos on page 11.) <br />The FY 2023 budget for the State EMS grant is $23,184,337. We have <br />five ambulances on order and they are expected to be delivered in early <br />2023. Ten gurneys and five mobile radios are on order for installation in <br />the new vehicles. One cargo truck is on order, as well as Sapphire <br />medication pumps, and three new laptops for the EMS Captains. <br />Alternative Funding and Grants <br />Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response (SAFER) <br />Federal Grant of $3,511,641 for six (6) Captain positions and three (3) <br />Fire Fighter positions for 36 months. As of 11/30/2022, we have <br />expended 34% of the grant funds with 25 months remaining. <br />USDA, Forest Service, Pacific Southwest Region, State & Private Forestry <br />Federal grant award of $197,637 (with County match of $197,637) for FY <br />2022. The budget is amended to reflect 100% purchases of supplies and <br />closes on February 28, 2023. Current expenditures as of 12/31/22 <br />remains at $355,475.25 plus $39,798.75 in encumbrances. There is 0% of <br />the grant award remaining. The remaining items on order are 160 pails of <br />Class A foam and 70 breakaway nozzles. <br />2022 1 DECEMBER 4 <br />
