the West side of Manono Street, 195 feet north of the Lanikaula and Manono Street <br />intersection. <br />The applicant in this case, Timothy Delozier, is requesting a change of zone from Single <br />Family Residential „ 10,000 square feet to a Neighborhood Commercial „ 10,000 square <br />feet. The request is in order to convert the existing dwelling into an area for his mortgage <br />company, Amera Mortgage Company, as well as one other small business. <br />This is the proposed layout that was submitted by the applicant. It shows that there is a <br />proposed parking area in the rear of the property. One condition that has been put on the <br />change of zone application is that access will be limited to a single location, Condition C, <br />to Manono Street. At our last Hilo hearing a motion was made to send an unfavorable <br />recommendation to the Hawai€i County Council. The motion did not pass with four ayes <br />and three noes. And since our last hearing weve received two letters. One is from Mr. <br />AaronBandy,andanotherletterfromLouandGailRhoades,alongwiththeletterfrom <br />the Rhoades there were numerous petitions submitted from residents in the area.
