Motion to approve letter as am <br />ended was made by Member <br />Gonzales, and the second by <br />Member Punihaole. Motion <br />passed (4 ayes, 0 nays). <br />Final version of letter to be <br />mailed out to Mayor, and to all <br />members. <br />5. New Business <br />Treasurer's Report <br />No report was given. A brief <br />review was proved by Staff <br />Attorney Hall and by <br />Administrative Assistant <br />regarding the fiscal <br />responsibilities affiliated with the <br />committee funds. They also <br />discussed the funding cycle and <br />the retaining of the committee <br />funds until the end of the fiscal <br />year. <br />Member Punihaole inquired of the <br />use of the funds if justifiable <br />purchases could be made, and if <br />the purchases met the goals of the <br />committee. Members agreed to <br />the use, but all were aware that <br />the term of the committee would <br />be ending on December 7. It was <br />not clear that the committee could <br />have the purchase discussion and <br />decision, and secure the funds <br />from the County by December 7. <br />Mayor's Committee on People with <br />Chair Hiraishi requested for the <br />Disability Final Review and Approval of <br />final discussion and vote of the <br />By -Law revisions. <br />Committee by-laws as a carryover <br />from the October 28, 2020 <br />committee meeting. <br />Motion passed (4 ayes, 0 nays). <br />Whole. Motion passed (4 ayes, 0 <br />nays). Hard copies will be <br />provided to all members once <br />document is reviewed by <br />Corporation Council and the <br />Mayor.
