4.2 Proposed Hours of Operation <br /> The proposed hours for the Hi`ialo/Captain Cook Learning Center for the preschool <br /> program will be approximately between 8:30am to 2:30pm with the possibility of an <br /> afterschool flexible program. The community center proposed hours may vary throughout <br /> the day and evening and have not been set. <br /> 4.3 Proposed Number of Students and Faculty <br /> The proposed Hi`ialo/Captain Cook Learning Center will include four classrooms with <br /> a maximum of twenty-five students per classroom. It is anticipated that there will be two <br /> teachers per classroom and approximately ten to twelve administrative staff at the site. <br /> 4.4 Existing and Proposed Building Heights <br /> Existing Conditions <br /> The tallest building at the Project Area is the two-story Building B, estimated to be <br /> less than thirty feet in height. On Parcel 14, a one-story residence is less than fifteen feet in <br /> height. The height limit for the existing structures within the Project Area complies with the <br /> Zoning Code height limit of thirty-five feet for residential structures and forty-five feet for all <br /> other structures.' <br /> Proposed <br /> The Proposed Action will demolish both Building C and the residential dwelling unit <br /> on Parcel 14. Building A and Building B, the one-story chapel/classroom building and the <br /> two-story classroom building, respectively, will remain. There are no plans to increase the <br /> height of either of the remaining buildings. As such,the building heights for all structures in <br /> the Proposed Action are compliant with the Zoning Code. <br /> i Per HCC§25-5-77 Agricultural Districts "Other Regulations", any legal building site in the A district lot <br /> that is less than five acres, then the minimum building site average width and height requirements for the <br /> building site shall be the same as the yard and height requirements in the FA district.HCC§25-5-63 FA District <br /> "Height Limits" states that the maximum height for residential structures is thirty-five feet. The maximum <br /> height for all other structures is forty-five feet. <br /> 7 <br />
