TORIGOE: Just for clarification. So basically this is going to be a motion to <br />include that change in the recommendation that the Commission will be making to the <br />Council. Is that really what it is? <br />WOODWARD: Right. Why do we have to put “landowners” in <br />parenthesis? <br />IWASHITA: Well, that’s just my grammatical, maybe too lawyerly, way to do <br />it. I mean that’s, it can be done with commas, I guess. To me, it makes it clearer that it’s <br />tied just to community, but you can grammatically -. If it’s not grammatically correct, I <br />will yield to the grammatically correct form. <br />BOWMAN: I’d prefer the commas. There’s just a visual, and I think it doesn’t <br />make a difference. <br />IWASHITA: I agree. <br />WOODWARD: Okay, we’re arguing about commas now. So I think it’s time to -. <br />All right. On page 37 where it says “WHAT needs to be done –“, about <br />midway down the page, it says “All steps should be done in consultation with the <br />community, including affected landowners, scientists,” etc., etc., etc., and then the rest of <br />the sentence remains the same.
