She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy from <br /> Georgetown University in Washington D.C. and received a Master in City Planning <br /> from the University of California at Berkley. <br /> 4. Michael T. Munekiyo, AICP, Senior Advisor <br /> Mr. Munekiyo has 49 years of professional planning experience, which includes <br /> positions with State and County governments, a private consulting firm and a <br /> corporate landowner. Mr. Munekiyo's experience touches upon a solid and broad <br /> base of planning programs and projects, ranging from the preparation of issue <br /> papers for the Hawaii Coastal Zone Management Program and Hawaii State Plan, <br /> and processing of regulatory permit applications and environmental impact <br /> statements for major infrastructure improvements. He has thorough knowledge of <br /> State and County planning processes and has a full understanding of County <br /> legislative processes. <br /> Mr. Munekiyo holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from <br /> Colorado State University and a Master of Urban and Regional Planning Degree <br /> from the University of Hawaii.
