BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) <br />Scope: Oceanit prepared construction plans and specifications and secured permits to replace the existing 6-inch potable water main, <br />including lateral connections, valves, and meters, with new four -inch and eight -inch water mains, lateral connections, valves, and <br />meters. <br />A design for replacement of existing fixed finger piers with aluminum and composite <br />floating piers, including ADA-accessible cross docks, at the 500 Row Docks of Ala <br />Wai Small Boat Harbor (AWSBH) was also provided. Related improvements included <br />gangways, security gates, and utilities (electrical and water). <br />Oceanit subcontracted or prepared: <br />• A topographic survey, including the ��i = r :.: - •-K.n ;�...• -�; <br />location of utilities; <br />• A hydrographic survey; <br />• A geotechnical investigation; <br />• Conceptual designs and alternatives; <br />• Construction plans and specifications; <br />• An engineering cost estimate; and <br />• All required permits (Department of the Army permit, 401 Water Quality Certification) <br />prior to construction. Oceanit also provided post -design services during bidding, and <br />construction services for the waterline replacement. <br />Oceanit prepared and obtained approval of a Traffic Control Plan to provide safe work zones for the contractor and safe passageways <br />for pedestrian and motorists passing through the construction site during installation of the water line. <br />Design Fee: $337,375 and Waterline replacement: $1.3 million <br />25.
