One is okay. <br />GALDONES:Commissioner Kubota? <br />KUBOTA:IÓm just going back to a suggestion that was previously mentioned <br />about the landowners or the people that use that land, use that road, Kulana Kea Road, in <br />the future one of whom might be you. How about all those landowners getting together <br />and sharing in the cost, and the planning in the redevelopment of realigning that road? <br />Because it belongs you folks, right? <br />CARDOZA:Well, you know, thatÓs a good point. The problem is, yo <br />we bought it pretty much as is from C. Brewer. C. Brewer ran away. We have an <br />association, but we donÓt have even money in the association to maintain the road. I do <br />the road mowing and what little I do at my own expense. ThatÓs how bad the situation is. <br />So, you know, if everyone is willing to chip in, weÓll see, theyÓve -. <br />KUBOTA:Well, the point that I feel uncomfortable about is -. I fully <br />understand the, your concern for the safety. Okay? And, yet, at the same time, this is the <br />first, I guess, the first of the applications to come in to develop. To hold them back, <br />because the roadway is not in the Ðproper configurationÑ that would be the optimum <br />safety, would be rather unfair I think because there are many other people that are up <br />there that are going to be using that road, also. So I think everybody should be included, <br />and maybe stipulate that fair share be paid later on or however it is, and maybe the <br />Director can help me. But, you know, everybody is going to be using that road, right? <br />CARDOZA:Well, hereÓs what I get to say - Right now we know how many lot <br />owners we have up there, right? <br />KUBOTA:Okay. <br />CARDOZA:So weÓre okay. Right? <br />KUBOTA:Okay. <br />CARDOZA:EverybodyÓs happy. <br />KUBOTA:All right. <br />CARDOZANow the problem is whether they make 6 lots or 25 lots, w <br />going to have more traffic.
