County of Hawaii <br />DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION <br />Recreation Division <br />TO: Physical Education Instructors or Track Coaches <br />FROM: Darrell Yamamoto: Recreation Specialist II <br />Recreation Division - 961-8735 <br />Darrell.Yamamoto@hawaiicounty.gov <br />RE: 2024 Parks & Recreation Track & Field Program <br />The Department of Parks and Recreation has scheduled its 2024 Track & <br />Field program for February 3 & 17, 2024 at Kealakehe High School for the <br />West P&R Track & Field Meet. The East P&R Track Meet will be held <br />February 17 & March 2, 2024 at Waiakea High School. The Track & Field <br />meets will not be held on same dates on the East and West due to <br />scheduling conflicts. Also Konawaena High School track will be under <br />construction during these dates. <br />All 4 track meets will be Age Group Meets, we will not be having the <br />Exponent Meets from here on. <br />Enclosed in the packet are: <br />1. Entry forms for girls and boys in the age group meets on specific <br />meet dates. <br />2. Waiver forms, which can be duplicated, for each participant. <br />3. Reminders. <br />Entry deadline for the Age Group Track Meets are TWO WEEKS PRIOR <br />TO THE DATE OF THE MEET. SOME COACHES ARE LATE EVERY <br />MEET, DON'T BE LATE!!! <br />*All registrations after the deadline dates must register entrants on the day <br />of the track meet.
