This matter was scheduled for two days, as you all know, of evidentiaryhearing, and <br />this Commission would like to begin taking what evidence it can today, if possible, and of course <br />tomorrow, and to further the hearing to a date to be determined to accept additional evidence. <br />HOUSEL: Do we have a second for that motion? <br />NELSON: Second. <br />HOUSEL: Seconded by Commissioner Nelson. <br />YEH: Mr. Chairman, before the Commission votes – and my apologies for interrupting – in <br />discussions that I’ve had with the client, you know, we are okay with continuing the evidentiary <br />portion on the contested case; so I’m not sure that that motion, in light of that, is actually necessary <br />as opposed -. So we are okay with continuing the contested case portion, evidentiarycomponents <br />of this hearing, is what I maybe perhaps didn’t make clear before. <br />HOUSEL: So you would prefer not to have the evidentiary tomorrow? <br />YEH: Yes. <br />HOUSEL: Okay. <br />P. OLSON: If I could clarify. Essentially,I believe that we would stipulate, or there is a stipulation <br />by Dr. Foulk to continue this matter and we are moving for continuance, and that would be the <br />stipulation. I don’t know what the Planning Department, whether they are going to stipulate as <br />well. <br />SELF: Just stipulate to continue? <br />P. OLSON: Yes. <br />SELF: We don’t have a problem with that. <br />P. OLSON: And Mr. Ali as well. <br />GHALAMFARSA: Yeah, no problem with that. <br />HOUSEL: Okay, so -. <br />YEH: I think it would be good, though, to try to get some possible dates lined up just in advance. <br />GIFFIN: We were -. <br />HOUSEL: So -. <br />GIFFIN: I’m sorry. We were concerned about that, too, Mr. Yeh, because our vision is not to have <br />this being carried on forever, and we do feel that we’d like to have an ending in mind for sure.
