Those individuals are encouraged to complete a paper survey. <br /> <br />Focus on affordable housing: There was a presentation from an affordable <br />kupuna housing project in Manoa that is trying to build and it’s getting lots of <br />push back from the community. It is a really great affordable rental <br />opportunity for kupuna. Horace mentioned the part that makes it affordable is <br />all of the infrastructure – road, sewer, water – is already there. This is a major <br />cost savings for the developer. <br /> <br /> <br />Chalintorn Burian (AARP) – Hilo Shred Event and Food Drive, Saturday, <br />September 10, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.; AARP Scam and Fraud <br />Prevention; and lawmakers and Governor Ige passed and signed the Hawaii <br />Retirement Savings Law Act into law. New benefits for workers, small <br />businesses and taxpayers. <br /> <br />9.
