Recommendation #16 <br /> Recommend amending Section 25-4-16.20(4)to remove the"public list" and replace it <br /> with"database". <br /> Reason: This provision will allow for staff to create an online database with the required <br /> information that could be easily accessed by members of the public. <br /> Recommendation #17 <br /> Under Section 25-4-16.27, consider deleting the word"hosted". <br /> Reason: The current code allows for the Planning Director to restore existing transient <br /> accommodations that have been impacted by natural or manmade disasters to be <br /> relocated. This provision will continue to allow the Planning Director the authority to <br /> relocate any nonconforming use transient accommodation rental that could be impacted <br /> by a disaster. <br /> Recommendation #18 <br /> Under Section 25-4-17.4(a), consider removing the requirement that a notice of violation <br /> be sent in writing within ten days of the occurrence of a violation and replace it with the <br /> provision that the notice be sent within ten days of the directors determination that a <br /> violation has been committed. <br /> Reason: Over the past few years there has been an increase in the submittal of complaints <br /> and the assigned inspectors have needed additional time to compile information for just <br /> one complaint.
