My name is Ceci Davenport, I'm from Waimea and I just want to say, I think because we use the same email is why maybe I wasn't on the Zoom list. DEFRANCO: So, do you want 6 minutes then to speak? DAVENPORT: Sure, I'll take as much time as you allow me. That will be great. DEFRANCO: Okay and John did you need your other 3 minutes? We want to make sure everybody gets what they need to say. KAWANO: Yeah, I'll take 3 more minutes, if you guys don't mind. DEFRANCO: So, John do you want to finish then and then we'll move on to Ceci. Is that all right? KAWANO: Yes. DEFRANCO: Okay, all right John. KAWANO: For me, growing up here. We grew up next door to the Ishihara's and I watched John Metzler. There was Jeffrey Cipriano had covered that property so-called property in rocks. DEFRANCO: And again, I'm just going to have you speak directly to what we're talking about today and make your comments — KAWANO: This will pertain, this will pertain. DEFRANCO: Okay. KAWANO: Because the Council needs to understand where our culture comes from. I'm not Hawaiian. I was raised with the Hawaiians and the Council needs to understand aloha `aina and how this is going to pertain to our keiki's, our future. This is what we're fighting for. Listen. Listen.
