proposed commercial development scale and size is not compatible for this area and the proposed <br /> project would adversely increase property taxes for residents in this area. <br /> So, what I'm saying is that the size and scope of this project is too large and too big. So, if the <br /> applicant wants to come back to get what the original zoning was then we won't be as most <br /> adamantly opposed to that. The original zoning was Ag-5a and there was a zoning in the front the <br /> commercial CN-7.5 for the front end. <br /> HATA: 30 seconds remaining. <br /> FLORES: So, what I'm saying is that the project right now is going for a <br /> higher up zoning than what it originally was prior to making it all Ag. So, I say the applicant <br /> should come back in with the previous zoning of that area and the project should not be upscaled <br /> to CN-10. Why are we increasing the capacity and size of the commercial development? The <br /> further you move from the Town Center; the development should be down scaling. Right now, <br /> you're upscaling. All the other commercial properties are all CN-7.5 and this should not be a <br /> commercial CN-10. <br /> HATA: Kalani,please summarize your testimony. Thank you. <br /> FLORES: I'd like to thank you Commissioners and if you take a look in detail <br /> as to my testimony provided both written and orally. This project cannot move forward because <br /> it's not consistent with the General Plan. It's not consistent with the Kohala CDP and I thank you <br /> folks for your time and opportunity to provide testimony on this matter today. Thank you so <br /> much.
