Project work includes development of a site-specific Construction <br /> Construction Environmental Hazard Management Plan(CEHMP)to ensure that all activities are performed in accordance <br /> Environmental with environmental conditions previously identified at the site and under the purview of the Hawaii <br /> Support Hawaii Department of Health(HDOH)Hazard Evaluation and Emergency Response(HEER)Office.Activities to date <br /> Hawaiian Public Housing have included characterization of shallow soil across 20 Decision Units(DUs)at the site,via a Geoprobe <br /> Dredging drilling rig using the multi-increment sampling(MIS)technique.The soil analytical data will be used for soil <br /> Construction Co., Authority management during the extensive excavation required for site redevelopment. Tetra Tech has also 2024-Ongoing <br /> Inc. Redevelopment performed hazardous materials surveys,to evaluate the potential presence of lead based paint(LBP)and <br /> Project asbestos containing materials(ACM)in buildings slated for demolition. A soil vapor study has also been <br /> 1002 North School performed in a building formerly used for vehicle maintenance, to characterize the potential presence of <br /> Street volatile organic compounds (VOCs) prior to subsurface investigation activities planned following building <br /> demolition.This project involves significant coordination between Hawaiian Dredging,HPHA,and the HEER <br /> Office due to the iterative nature of the site construction activities. <br /> PAGE 18 <br />
