llt TETRATECH <br /> County of Hawaii-Statement of Qualifications for Fiscal Year 2025 <br /> Client(s) Project Name Description Period of <br /> Performance <br /> State and County Agencies(Statewide) <br /> Tetra Tech is currently performing site characterization services at the former illegal dump site in Poamoho, <br /> near Whitmore Village. The focus of the site assessment is characterization of shallow soil conditions in the <br /> Agribusiness area formerly used as an illegal dump, primarily for stolen car staging and associated 'chop-shop" <br /> Development Environmental Site operations.In addition,there was other random trash and debris scattered across the Site,including boats, <br /> Corporation Assessment- liquefied petroleum gas tanks,etc.A portion of the Site burned in summer 2021,with cars in place,creating 2021-Ongoing <br /> (ADC) Poamoho Fire Site the possibility for releases of oil and/or hazardous materials associated with incineration/melting of a variety <br /> of car parts. In addition, prior to the fire,the staging of abandoned vehicles alone represents a threat of <br /> impact as a result of leaks,and potential in-situ draining of automotive fluids,including oil,transmission fluid, <br /> brake fluid,and engine coolant. <br /> Tetra Tech conducted a comprehensive evaluation of HRS 196D that identified the benefits,challenges,and <br /> DLNR, limitations of implementing the HRS 196D Consolidated Permit Application and Review Procedures for <br /> Engineering 196D HRS Action geothermal and cable system development.As part of the evaluation,Tetra Tech met with stakeholders and 2015 <br /> Division Plan DLNR to better understand the challenges and opportunities of HRS 196D and its implementation. A <br /> summary report with findings of the evaluation and interviews was provided to DLNR and included an <br /> evaluation of possible actions for repealing,amending,or preserving HRS 196D. <br /> Hawaii Sea Level Tetra Tech is providing technical and administrative support to the DLNR and the Interagency Climate <br /> DLNR, Rise Vulnerability Adaptation Committee to prepare the Sea Level Rise Vulnerability and Adaptation Report mandated by the <br /> and Adaptation Hawaii Climate Adaptation Initiative Act (Act 83, 2014). Tetra Tech's scope includes: organizing and <br /> Engineering 2015 to 2018 <br /> Report,Statewide, facilitation of ICAC meetings, conducting a state-wide sea level rise vulnerability assessment and <br /> Division Hawaii(Job No. socioeconomic impact analysis, assisting in public education and outreach, and preparing the Report for <br /> J40AS99A) submission to the State Legislature by December 2017. <br /> Ha'ena State Park Tetra Tech provided technical support services to DLNR in support of Na Pali Park improvements.The scope <br /> DLNR, and Napali Coast of services included:preparing a HEPA EA and Site Plan Approval for the Office of Conservation and Coastal <br /> Engineering State Wilderness Lands; performing a hydrology and hydraulics study, topographic survey, and geotechnical investigation; 2014 to 2021 <br /> Division Park-Park supporting public meetings and associated stakeholder outreach; preparing a Design Development Report <br /> Improvements and bid specifications for a pedestrian bridge crossing HanakapT'ai Beach;preparing a Special Management <br /> Area Major Permit for the County of Kauai. <br /> Ha'ena State Park <br /> and Napali Coast Tetra Tech assessed the conditions of various existing park improvements and developed a concept plan to <br /> DLNR, State Wilderness implement capital improvements at Ha'ena State Park and Napali Coast State Wilderness Park. <br /> Park Field <br /> Engineering Investigation and Recommendations on materials, placement, installation, and operation of desired/proposed improvements 2013 <br /> Division Concept Report for were provided.
