In this <br /> position, she currently performs mapping or graphic design using Adobe <br /> suites, ArcGIS, Sketchup or similar computer graphics to support work on <br /> transportation planning, urban design, and traffic engineering projects. <br /> REPRESENTATIVE PROJECT EXPERIENCE <br /> SSFM International Kalaheo Avenue and Kailua Road Intersection Improvements. Planner. <br /> Provided maps and rendering for the proposed intersection improvements. <br /> Project includes the full design of interim improvements to mitigate vehicular <br /> EDUCATION congestion and multi-modal conflicts. Traffic study will include alternative <br /> Masters Degree, Urban analysis including roundabout construction including public and stakeholder <br /> & Regional Planning, outreach. <br /> University of Hawaii at Complete Streets Implementation Study. Planner. Work included mapping and <br /> Manoa, Honolulu, providing graphic package to illustrate existing conditions and convey planning <br /> Hawaii concepts. SSFM is the prime consultant, working with a team of local and <br /> Bachelor of Landscape national experts, to assist the City in the implementation of the goals and <br /> Architecture, Beijing requirements of the Complete Streets Ordinance. This project includes the <br /> Forestry University, completion of several inter-related tasks. Primary to this effort was the <br /> Beijing, China creation of the Honolulu Complete Streets Design Manual which was created <br /> with the intent of superseding dated guidelines. <br /> Hawaii County Complete Streets Program and Downtown Hilo Mobility Study. <br /> Planner. Work included mapping and providing graphic package to illustrate <br /> existing conditions and convey planning concepts. The Downtown Hilo Multi- <br /> modal Master Plan will establish a community-driven Master Plan for policies, <br /> programs, and projects which will improve overall mobility throughout the <br /> Downtown area and provide multi-modal connections to high activity locations. <br /> Multi-Modal Bike Plan, Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii. Planner. SSFM assisted the <br /> City and County of Honolulu in defining bicycling facility projects that will <br /> integrate multi-modal access and connections to Honolulu rail stations and <br /> other transit facilities. Project included the creation of a Protected Bike Lane <br /> Network plan to be carried through by the City and developers. <br /> Kalanianaole Highway Improvements, Waimanalo, Phase 1. Planner. Field <br /> investigations, preparation of pedestrian origin and destination study, <br /> preparation of graphic package to support traffic analysis resulting in traffic <br /> impact assessment report, transportation management plan and traffic signal <br /> timing for the intersection improvements at Kalanianaole Highway and <br /> Poalima Street in Waimanalo, Oahu. The design incorporates a new roadway <br /> section that will provide eased vehicle congestion while also including <br /> dedicated pedestrian and bicycle facilities, and an equestrian path. Estimated <br /> construction costs $12.0 million. <br /> Nuuanu/Liliha Complete Streets Project, Honolulu, Hawaii. SSFM assisted the <br /> City and County of Honolulu to develop multimodal solutions for Nuuanu <br /> Avenue and Liliha Street in Honolulu. Work included mapping and providing <br /> graphic package to illustrate existing conditions and convey planning <br /> concepts. Additional tasks included preparation for and coordination of public <br /> outreach activities. <br />
