Vulnerability and Adaptation Report (2017). The managed retreat <br /> study involved four main tasks: 1) Background research consisting <br /> of literature review and stakeholder consultation on managed <br /> retreat; 2) Four scenario profiles, involving preparation of <br /> hypothetical scenarios, site visits, and focus group discussions to <br /> explore retreat of different development types; 3) Symposium on <br /> managed retreat, with keynote speakers and participants from <br /> across the state; and 4 the Final Resort which summarized the <br />
