Estimated cost <br /> $824,500 (fees) <br /> Hawaii Natural Disaster Economic Recovery Strategy <br /> -0411.9t l&.– <br /> Statewide, Hawaii <br /> — SSFM was the lead consultant for the preparation of a Natural <br /> Disaster Economic Recovery Strategy with a focus on small <br /> rM <br /> business. SSFM worked with a project Advisory Group made up of <br /> 35 public and private agencies engaged in disaster work. <br /> The study considered multi-hazards for disasters that strike <br /> Hawaii. The study covered both pre-disaster operations continuity <br /> - 9`" planning and post-disaster recovery actions that are important for <br /> I small businesses. This plan was conducted under a grant from the <br /> ' w US Economic Development Administration (EDA). <br /> �r--{ A series of focus groups were being held across the state to find <br /> out what each business knows about continuity preparedness, <br /> response, and recovery to natural disasters. The focus groups were <br /> followed by a statewide electronic survey of small businesses to <br /> gauge how widespread were the gaps <br /> The study deliverables included three reports: Existing Conditions, <br /> Gaps and Strengths; Goals & Objective and Alternate Strategies; <br /> and Final Plan and Recommendations. <br /> Estimated cost$79,438 (fees) <br /> 711Pli County of Maui Transportation Department Maui Short Range <br /> 011It Transit Plan Update, Maui County, Hawaii <br /> SSFM is providing planning services for the development of a five- <br /> 11 year Service Improvement Transportation Program for the County <br /> � of Maui. The work in this task is considered an update of current <br /> services. The Service Improvement Transportation Program will be <br /> developed such that services are defined on a year by year basis <br /> 4 for ease in budget development, service deployment and contractor <br /> procurement <br /> Estimated cost$162,240 (fees) <br />
