<br /> environmental remedial action program at various sites in the NAVFAC Pacific AOR.NAVFAC �, ,

<br /> overall contract pool worth up to$40 million over a 5-year ordering period. 1
<br /> Under the contract,the EATC At competed with other contract holders to secure task orders
<br /> that facilitate remedial actions at environmentally impaired sites,predominately at Navy and
<br /> Marine Corps installations.Although services targeted various sites primarily on the Island of
<br /> 0`ahu,the contract also included work to be performed at sites within the NAVFAC Pacific

<br /> AOR,including Guam,the Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands,United States Minor
<br /> outlying Islands,Japan(including Okinawa),and Diego Garcia.The contract targets Superfund
<br /> National Priority List(NPL)ranked as well as non-NPL sites,Resource Conservation and r '
<br /> Recovery Act(RCRA),underground storage tanks(UST5),operational small arms firing ranges, �' a te!

<br /> • Excavation,hauling and disposal of solid and hazardous wastes
<br /> • Closure and/or replacement of underground storage tanks and above ground storage tanks
<br /> • Long-term monitoring,operations and maintenance of remedial action systems;
<br /> • Inspection and maintenance of land use controls,and Relevant Services
<br /> • Preparation of appropriate documentation of planned and completed actions

<br /> The EATC JV was awarded 19 of 37 task orders issued by NAVFAC.Tasks included:Closure 1J Waste Management
<br /> of a UST and installation of release response groundwater monitoring wells within Joint
<br /> Base Pearl Harbor Hickam,with a project value of$155,000;Excavation,packaging,removal,
<br /> disposal and confirmation sampling of buried drums of petroleum waste at Polaris Point, © Remedial Action
<br /> Guam,with project value of$360,000;Long-term monitoring of 7 sites at Joint Base Pearl &Design
<br /> Harbor Hickam,with a project value of$385,000;and Long-term management,remedial
<br /> action operations,groundwater monitoring and land use controls inspections for 4 sites at
<br /> Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam,with a project value of$180,000.Long term management ' Underground Storage
<br /> and munitions response in Waikane Valley,with a project value of$105,000. All work was Tank(UST)Closure
<br /> performed in strict accordance with US Army Corps of Engineers EM385-1-1 Health and Safety
<br /> Manual which NAVFAC has adopted for this contract.Additionally,ETC employees have
<br /> received 40 hours of EM385-1-1 training and 30 hours of OSHA Construction Safety Training.
