The new exhibit will be located just <br /> inside the main entrance arrival area, replacing the existing duck pond, extending eastward to the Nene Goose Sanctuary. Once <br /> completed,the aviary will showcase native and endangered birds in a recreated coastal wetland habitat.The wetland will transition to <br /> future exhibits featuring lora and fauna of Hawaii's mountainous rain forests and further into dry forests and grasslands. The design <br /> intent is to expose guests to the wide range of native wetland(streams and ponds)and dryland habitats found in Hawaii.
