25 02 <br /> Plan & Coordinate work (Native Garden Maintenance) <br /> - General planning & coordination, including communication with staff& contractors, <br /> equipment& supplies preparation. <br /> In-Kind Applicant Share: $1,008.00 <br /> - Project Manager: 2hr/month x 12 months x $42/hr= $1,008.00 <br /> OBJECTIVE 2) Community & Education HostingHost volunteers and <br /> malama aina events for cultural education and land stewardship. <br /> Activities <br /> 1) Host volunteers, groups, malama aina workdays, and educational workshops for <br /> cultural education and land stewardship. <br /> - Average 4 hostings per month(informal volunteer hosting or formal group hosting, <br /> malama `aina workdays, or educational workshops) <br /> o Informal volunteer hostings average 1-2 per month <br /> o Formal group hosting, workday, or workshop 2-3 per month <br /> - Hosting includes: <br /> o Preparation of site and supplies, transport& setup of tents, tables, water, PPE <br /> o Preparation and sharing of mo`olelo (oral history) and `oli (chant). <br /> - Formal hostings require additional: a) coordination with group leaders and/or <br /> participants; b) site setup including tents, tables, water, tools, etc. for larger groups; c) <br /> food preparation due to diet restrictions, larger group size, etc. <br /> Budgeed Amount: $33,600 <br /> - Group Hosting Honorarium: $21,600 <br /> o Hosting Honorarium: 6 hostings/month x $300/hosting x 12 months = $21,600 <br /> o Primary work plan intended to be Pohaha I Ka Lani officers, board members, <br /> and/or staff to conduct work as separate, dedicated and recorded additional <br /> work beyond their general duties as an officer, board member, or employee. <br /> o Secondary work plan intended to be contracted individuals will be hired as <br /> possible. <br /> ■ Various individuals have been utilized in the past and recently. <br /> o Hosting payments to be matched with record of site activities. <br /> - Small Hand tools: $1,000 <br /> o New &replacement picks, sickles, rakes, trash barrels, wheel barrows, etc. <br /> - PPE Supplies: $1,000 <br /> o Gloves, eye protection, hearing protection <br /> - Misc Supplies: $2,000 <br /> o Health & sanitation supplies, trash bags, replacement pop-tents, water jugs, <br /> etc. <br /> - Food for Volunteers: $8,000 <br />
