CABANAS: So, with that, let's go to our agenda, Number 8, "Unfinished Business" for <br />discussion and appropriate action. Mr. Halvorson, can you hear me? Is he backI'm not sure. <br />MR. HALVORSON: Yeah, now I can hear you. <br />CHR. CABANAS: Oh, okay, great. So, we are on Number 8, "Unfinished Business" of the <br />agenda, specifically, Communication No. 24-06, received on May 17, 2024, from Appellant, <br />appealing the following action by the County of Hawai`i's Office of the Mayor—an employment <br />action taken under Chapter 76, Hawaii Revised Statutes. <br />And Communication number 24-06.01—there's a typo. there, it reads ".02"—it should read <br />".01 "received on July 18, 2024, from Appellant's Representative Joan Gallagher, Union <br />Agent, MCEC, which is the managerial excluded unit HGEA/AFSCME Local 152, <br />withdrawing the appeal. <br />So, for this we need Board action to receive and close this file. Mr. Lee, from the Office of the <br />Corporation Counsel, do you have any comments at this time? <br />MR. LEE: No, I have no comment. I'd just like to thank Ms. Tallett for allowing us to go before <br />her hearing that's all. <br />CHR. CABANAS: Yes. Yes, we appreciate that. Thank you. Okay, thank you, Mr. Lee. <br />MS. BOND: Is this the one that was scheduled for the 22nd <br />CHR. CABANAS: Yes, this is the Appellant that was scheduled for our August 22nd meeting. <br />They have withdrawn the appeal. <br />So, do I have a motion to receive and close the file—the two communications? <br />MS.
