MATHEWS: I think the executive session is (inaudible). <br />CHR. CABANAS: Okay. Can I have a motion to go into executive session, please? <br />MS. MATHEWS: So moved. <br />MS. BOND: Second. <br />CHR. CABANAS: Oh, before we do <br />MS. TAVARES: Yeah, can I just make a brief statement— <br />CHR. CABANAS: (inaudible) brief pause on that. Ms. Tavares, go ahead. <br />MS. TAVARES: It says on page 2 in the "Findings of Fact"—"... as a result of a grievance and <br />its resulting settlement with""(HGEA), the" DHR Director "agreed to cancel the" <br />recruitment." <br />So to now, basically, say you're not saying that when it's written here in black and white is <br />concerning. That's all I have to say. It's written in the proposed Order. <br />CHR. CABANAS: Well, that's just a general statement. It —we didn't go into the settlement <br />as —as the testimony was provided, the details of the agreement were not shared because you <br />couldn't. <br />MS. TAVARES: Because that's not appropriate. <br />CHR. CABANAS: That's correct. But you still kept on referencing the settlement per se. <br />MS. TAVARES: Well, that is the that was the remedy. And, again, it's in your Findings of <br />Fact— <br />CHR. CABANAS: Yeah. <br />MS. TAVARES: that as a result of the grievance <br />CHR. CABANAS: Mm-hmm. <br />MS. TAVARES: settlement <br />CHR.
