Oral testimony can be <br />provided at the beginning of the meeting, when the respective agenda is called, or at the sole <br />discretion of the Chair. COMMISSIONER’S DISTRICT REPORTS: <br /> <br />a. Each Commissioner will provide updates and share concerns about their <br />respective districts; Commissioners to decide on whether to add those <br />topics at the next meeting and to invite the public to provide testimonies and <br />presentations at their meeting. Permitted Interaction Groups may be <br />created at this time. There will otherwise be no discussion or voting, which <br />will be reserved for when it is itemized on a future agenda. <br /> <br />5. PRESENTATION: <br /> <br />a. Bret Nainoa Mossman, DLNR Division of Forestry and Wildlife (DOFAW) <br />Natural Area Reserve System, Hawai’i Island Avian Biologist to speak on <br />the “Palila and its Endangered Species Recovery Status and Analysis <br />including analysis of the “Technical Report HCSU-115 2022 – 2024 Status <br />and Trends of the Palila (Loxioides Bailleui).” <br /> <br />b. Ryan Okano, Division of Aquatic Resources (DAR) Department of Land and <br />Natural Resources to speak on the proposed Division of Aquatic Resources <br />Community Project entitled, “Resurrecting the Wailoa Station to Support <br />‘Ama’ama Production to Help Revitalize Fishponds.” And, to share an <br />update on various DAR Hawai’i Island community efforts. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />County of Hawai`i is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer. <br /> <br />
