Au"L.PPLI C'��Nr REQUEST <br /> In addition to revising existing conditions, Hawaii Volcano Circus (HVC) requests an amendment <br /> to Special Permit No. 1122 to reflect the evolution of the Seaview Performing Arts Center for <br /> Education (SPACE) and its expanded mission. Key amendments include: <br /> • Update the Special Permit Area: Expand permit area from 2.5 acres to 3.1 acres to reflect <br /> subdivision from the original 10-acre parcel; <br /> • Expand permitted uses to include the following: <br /> o Out On A Limb: Community agriculture education through micro-farm tours, fruit <br /> gleaning, and garden-based workshops; <br /> o Seaview Community School: A K-6 public charter school operated under the Hawaii <br /> Academy of Arts and Science (HAAS), blending distance learning and in-person <br /> enrichment for approximately 55 students; <br /> o SPACE Resilience Hub: Disaster preparedness and resilience programming in <br /> partnership with Vibrant Hawaii and Urban Sustainability Directors Network (USDN); <br /> o HICCUP (Hawai`i Island Community Circus Unity Program): Ongoing circus arts <br /> instruction supporting youth development and community engagement. <br />
