PURPOSE AN' D PROPOSED OPERATIONS <br /> Purpose: The purpose of this amendment is to update the Special Permit to reflect SPACE's <br /> expanded mission as an educational and community hub. In addition to arts programming, the <br /> facility now offers charter school instruction, agricultural education, resilience training, and <br /> youth development. <br /> Operations: <br /> •Staffing: 30 employees; 10-15 staff during school hours; 2-3 after-school. <br /> •Hours: Daily, 8:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. <br /> •Charter School: Mon-Fri, 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.; -15 students. <br /> •After-School Programs: Mon-Fri, 3:00-9:00 p.m.; weekends, 8:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m.; up to 50 <br /> students. <br /> •Holiday Camps: Daily, 8:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m.; -40 students, 10 staff. <br /> •Community Events: Quarterly (recitals, fairs, fundraisers); 50-75 attendees per event; <br /> -200-300 annually. <br />
