Like we have seen repeatedly, especially in the State, you know if they change one word, <br /> and all of a sudden, the DLNR says, we can't put any more water up there, you're going <br /> to have to bang all the animals on the road, because we won't allow water. Just one little <br /> word...and/or. <br /> And it changes everything, you know these legal documents, and things like that. We <br /> really need to step up, and really protect our future, not just today, but our future. We <br /> need to be able to hunt and fish. We don't want to end up like the mainland, where they <br /> open the river, and everyone fishing elbow to elbow, for five (5) hours and that's all they <br /> are going to allow you to hunt or fish. If you guys want to <br /> look at it,just let me know, I can let you take it. But I, for myself, I didn't know about the <br /> General Plan until it was on the agenda last month, I'm still learning, as the Chair what we <br /> can do, having meetings with Kimo and his team for the task force. And for myself, a lot <br /> of our problems come from not having a plan, not even the General Plan, just what can <br /> we do? We cannot answer, like what can we do with the pigs in residential. Like we <br /> actually have no idea, of what we can do. We cannot, you know, and so getting into the <br /> General Plan for the next (25) twenty-five years is important for the Game Commission <br /> because this is, to me why we were created to help manage the game animals on this <br /> Island. And just for that, I don't know if you guys read the plan, but I would just like to, <br /> to read the legal part? <br /> SW: I'm sorry Chair? <br /> LT: Remember last time, I was like...should we read the legal part of the plan out loud? <br /> SW: You can if you want... <br /> 5.
