(February agenda item) Equal Pay Project: Equal pay social media campaign gift cards available IX. NEW BUSINESS A. Establishment of Sub-Committees and responsibilities a. Legislation &Advocacy Sub-Committee (LEG): This subcommittee shall be responsible for monitoring the State of Hawaii legislative session with the assistance of the HSCSW County of Hawaii Chair (January-April) and monitoring of the CofH County Council. The purpose of this subcommittee is to report to CSW current state legislative & county council items for possible CSW action or advocacy that impact the women and girls of the County of Hawaii. This committee shall propose recommendations to CSW for action when needed and to represent CSW for the purpose of advocacy when required. b. Community & Outreach Sub-Committee (C&O): This subcommittee shall be responsible for handling initial requests for CSW support not related to legislative or council issues. The purpose of this subcommittee is to maintain open communication and build positive relationships with our Hawaii Island Community and Agencies through activities, outreach, public communications that engage those we represent and to act as an informational resource. This subcommittee shall also maintain the calendar of community events that may be of interest or serve the women and girls of Hawaii Island.
