Effective May 1, 2016, <br /> FHWA has issued a Programmatic Delegation of Authority allowing the HDOT and local public <br /> agencies to conduct NHPA Section 106 consultations with the SHPO, NHO, and other <br /> consulting parties per Title 36 CFR § 800.2(c)(4). The FHWA will remain responsible for all <br /> findings and determinations charged to the agency during the Section 106 process. <br /> Overview of the Undertaking <br /> HDOT proposes to rehabilitate the Waikaumalo Stream Bridge, (Bridge No. 001000190308092) <br /> along Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19), in the vicinity of Ninole on the Hamakua Coast, Island of <br /> Hawaii. The bridge is located around milepost(MP) 18.5 at the approximate coordinates of <br /> North 19° 56' 01.1" and West 155° 09' 42.6". See Attachment 1: Area of Potential Effect(APE) <br /> Map.
