Takase <br />Director <br />SUBJECT: Application No. 25-02, Big Island Booch, Inc., dba The Booch Bar, adding its <br />current Restaurant General liquor license, Category B 1 as an additional location to its <br />pending Small Craft Producer Pub liquor license, Category A located at 230 Kekuanaoa Street, <br />Hilo, Hawaii; Increase in its current Licensed Premises to include an adjacent unit consisting of <br />1,200 square feet and a Change in Category of its current licensed premises to B2, from its <br />Restaurant General liquor license, Category B1 located at 110 Keawe Street, Hilo, Hawaii; <br />TMK: 2-3-005:008. <br />NATURE OF APPLICATION: This is an application for: <br />1. Add its current Restaurant General liquor license, Category B 1 as an additional location <br />to its pending Small Craft Producer Pub liquor license, Category A located at <br />230 Kekuanaoa Street, Hilo, Hawaii; <br />2. Increase in its current Licensed Premises to include an adjacent unit consisting of 1,200 <br />square feet; <br />3. Change in Category of its current licensed premises to B2, from its Restaurant General <br />liquor license, Category B I. <br />REASON FOR ADDING ITS CURRENT RESTAURANT GENERAL LIQUOR <br />LICENSE, CATEGORY B1 AS AN ADDITIONAL LOCATION TO ITS PENDING <br />SMALL CRAFT PRODUCER PUB LIQUOR LICENSE, CATEGORY A LOCATED AT <br />230 KEKUANAOA STREET, HILO, HAWAI`I: Pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statutes <br />§281-3 1 (r)(9), Small Craft Producer Pub licensees are allowed to conduct activities at other <br />locations other than its (primary) licensed premises, provided that each of the other locations: <br />• operates within the State under the same trade name for the premises; and <br />• is properly licensed within the county of its operation as a class 1 manufacturer licensee, <br />class 2 restaurant licensee, class 4 retail dealer licensee, class 5 dispenser licensee, class <br />12 hotel licensee, class 14 brewpub licensee, or class 18 small craft <br />producer pub licensee. <br />Applicant meets these requirements as its current Restaurant General liquor license, Category B 1 <br />(REST-G-943) will operate under the same trade name as its pending Small Craft Producer Pub <br />Hawai'i County is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer <br />
