Kamehameha Highway,along <br /> the windward coast of Oahu is being undermined by the effects of wave erosion. HDOT is proposing to implement permanent roadway protection <br /> measures, makai of the existing highway,at nine(9)priority sites.These sites have been identified as locations where existing erosion mitigation <br /> measures are failing or nonexistent and repair is needed to prevent Kamehameha Highway from collapsing into the ocean. Courtney is providing <br /> project management and permitting support including Federal,State,and County permits and consultation support including USFWS Section <br /> 7, NHPA Section 106,Coastal Zone Management Federal Consistency Determination,SMA permitting,a HEPA/NEPAcompliant Environmental <br /> Assessment,Conservation District Use permit,amongst others.She is also supporting agency consultation,and coordinating with subconsultants <br /> such as Sea Engineering, Inc. <br /> c.
